1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how LOGI LABS SP Z O O, a company registered in Warsaw, Poland (KRS: 0001226746, NIP: 7011302004) ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Logi Food Coach mobile application ("App").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable App Store/Google Play policies regarding health data.

2. Information We Collect

2.1. Account Information (Authentication)

  • Registered Users: If you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile info via Google SSO or Apple SSO.
  • Guest Users (Anonymous Mode): If you use the App without registering, we create a generated anonymous identifier (via Firebase) linked to your specific app installation. We do not collect your email in this mode.

2.2. Health & Metabolic Data (The Core Service)

To provide metabolic analysis and glycemic predictions, you may choose to input or sync the following data:

  • Manual Entry: Food photos, meals, weight, and lab results (e.g., glucose, insulin for HOMA-IR).
  • Platform Integrations (Optional): With your explicit permission, we access data from Apple Health (HealthKit)or Google Fit (Health Connect), such as:
    • Blood Glucose
    • Sleep Analysis
    • Step Count / Active Energy
    • Dietary Energy (Calories/Macros)

2.3. User Content (Photos)

  • We collect food photos you upload solely to analyze them using Artificial Intelligence.

2.4. Usage Data

  • We collect technical logs (device type, crash reports) to maintain App stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly to provide the App's functionality:

  1. AI Analysis: Your food information is processed to estimate macronutrients and glycemic index.
  2. Health Insights & Education: We use your glucose, sleep, and activity data to generate the "Glycemic Response Prediction," the "Habit Consistency Grid," and other personalized reports designed to educate you about your metabolic health and lifestyle trends.
  3. Account Management: To sync your data across devices (for registered users only).

4. SPECIAL PROVISIONS: Health Connect & Apple HealthKit

This section explicitly addresses requirements from Google and Apple regarding sensitive health data.

4.1. No Sale of Data

We strictly DO NOT sell, trade, or rent your health data to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

4.2. No Advertising

Data obtained through Health Connect or Apple HealthKit is never used for advertising, marketing, or use-based data mining. It is used solely to display your health trends and improve your metabolic estimations.

4.3. Google Health Connect "Limited Use" Disclosure

The use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors (Updated)

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We strictly limit data sharing to trusted third-party service providers required to operate, maintain, and improve the App ("Processors").

5.1. Infrastructure & AI

  • Google Cloud Services (including Firebase): Used for secure cloud hosting, database management, authentication, computing (Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks), and storage. We may also utilize Google's AI models (e.g., Gemini) for processing data within this secure infrastructure.
  • AI Service Providers (e.g., OpenAI): We utilize third-party AI models to process your inputs (including food photos, text descriptions, and dietary history) and to analyze your usage patterns. This processing is performed solely to identify food, estimate nutritional values, and generate personalized health reports and insights for you.

5.2. Subscriptions & Commerce

  • RevenueCat: Used to manage and validate your subscriptions from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Apple & Google Stores: Process payments. We do not have access to your financial details.

5.3. Analytics & Marketing (Usage Data Only)

  • Google Analytics & PostHog: Used to analyze aggregate user behavior (e.g., which features are popular) to improve the product.
  • AppsFlyer: Used for marketing attribution (to understand how users find our App).

5.4. IMPORTANT: Protection of Health Data & Analytics Configuration

To ensure strict privacy compliance, particularly regarding data from Health Connect and Apple HealthKit, we adhere to a Data Segregation Policy:

  • No Transmission of Sensitive Values: We do not configure our analytics or marketing tools (such as Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, or PostHog) to collect specific health measurements or sensitive values. For example, while an analytics event may record that you logged a meal or checked your glucose, it will not contain the specific ingredients, caloric values, or glucose readings associated with that event.
  • Marketing Exclusion: Sensitive health data (including Glucose readings, HOMA-IR results, and Food Logs) is never used for advertising targeting or shared with data brokers.

6. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active to provide history and trends.
  • Deletion: You may delete your account at any time via the App settings. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed from our active databases immediately.
  • Guest Mode Warning: If you use an Anonymous Account and delete the App or lose your device, your data is permanently lost as we have no way to link it back to you.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data.

  • To Export Data: You can use the "PDF Medical Export" feature within the App.
  • To Delete Data: Use the "Delete Account" button in Settings.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to transmit your data and store it on secure Google Cloud servers. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover such data, it will be deleted.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our App (e.g., new AI features). We will notify you of material changes via the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
